About
I help midlife women and men reclaim their health and feel like themselves again, despite the natural biological and hormonal changes that come with a more mature body. I work with clients 1:1 to co-create a science-based, baby-step approach that will lead to BIG results over time.
Together, we will uncover the root cause of your symptoms, including fatigue, hot flashes, brain fog; changes in mood, metabolism, thyroid, blood sugar, blood pressure, bone density, and cholesterol; and digestion, belly, and poop problems; all while reducing your long-term risk of chronic diseases like osteoporosis, Alzheimer's, arthritis, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease.

I began my perimenopause journey after the birth of my second child. Symptoms like night sweats, depression, anxiety, insomnia, IBS, GERD, and heavy/painful cycles had my doctors scratching their heads and suggesting things like birth control pills, medications, and even surgery to give me some relief. Looking back, I realize now that I was in perimenopause, and there's a lot I could have been doing through diet and lifestyle to significantly reduce my symptoms and suffering.
After losing my 68-year-old mom to a sudden, massive heart attack, I decided to return to school to become part of the solution against heart disease and other chronic conditions that too often afflict menopausal women. My mom seemed healthy; she ate a balanced diet and exercised daily. So, what happened? As a nutrition student at American University, I focused on getting answers to my and my mom's health issues. I developed the 'Pause Well Program - Nutrition for Menopausal Women as part of a school project. However, I quickly realized that I wanted to share my compiled research with as many people as possible, knowing the information and support strategies would ultimately save the lives of both women and men.
Nutrition is a third career for me. My earlier career as a Broadway dancer gave way to a yoga and dance teacher role while raising my two children. I've been teaching yoga and meditation for over 20 years, so I'm no stranger to helping people thrive in body and mind. I strive to interweave mindfulness techniques when coaching my nutrition clients — a few deep breaths can go a long way when working to change eating habits. I believe eating should be fun, personalized, and easy, and loving your body is the first step toward longevity and a healthier, more vibrant YOU.
